Description
The Welsh Daffodil mug prominently features the Welsh daffodil, also called the Welsh leek or Peter’s leek. Around the top rim of the mug is written the name of the daffodil in Welsh, “Cenhinen Bedr Cymreig”, literally “Welsh Peter’s Leek. It has been the national flower of Wales since the early middle ages and is traditionally worn on March 1, St. David’s Day, to mark the celebration of the Patron Saint of Wales.
